Reset TCP/IP through Command Prompt

Turn off NetBIOS

  • Once again, to reach the Network Connections on your system.
  • After that, click on the ‘Change adapter options.’
  • You should pick the ‘select your connection’ option.
  • Then click on the Properties option.
  • You have to choose the ‘Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)’ option and pick the Properties option.
  • Go to the lower side of the screen and click on the Advanced option.
  • Reach the advanced settings section and choose the WINS tab.
  • You should click on the option of ‘Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.’
  • Now, select the OK button.

Install Network Adapter Drivers Again 

  • Go to the Windows logo and right-click on it on your system.

  • Go to the network adapter and right-click on it, then choose the Uninstall driver.

  • Then Windows will identify and install the mission drivers automatically.

Reboot the Network Adapter

  • Press the Windows and R buttons altogether over the keyboard to invoke the Run program.
  • Then input ‘ncpa.cpl’ into it and select the OK button.
  • You should locate the network adapter and right-click on it.
  • Thereafter, click on the Disable button.
  • Now, once again, right-click and click on the Enable option.

Install Antivirus Again

  • Press the Windows and R buttons altogether over the keyboard to invoke the Run program.
  • Then input ‘appwiz.cpl’ into it and select the OK button.
  • You have to locate the antivirus and right-click on it.
  • After that, click on the Uninstall button.
  • Now, restart the system.
  • Then download the antivirus once again and install it.
